During your stay, you will be sharing the kitchen of the Fare with the property owner.
She is living on the same property, and occupies the bedroom located upstairs above the kitchen, which preserve your intimacy.
She also has her own dog who is very nice. Discreet and very friendly, she is a love and a true asset to make your stay mots enjoyable!
- The cuisine
The ''Faré Tutu'' in Tahitian and its bar, the heart of Faré Mihiroa, fully equipped with refrigerator, cellar, freezer, microwave oven, stove and a water fountain provided free of charge by the house. Located in front of the beautiful lagoon from which you can admire the fish and small sharks. You can also enjoy the sunrise and sunset. A table that can accommodate up to 8 people to enjoy your breakfast, lunch and dinner. The breakfast is provided for free in the rental price. It includes a choice of coffee, tea, bread, butter and fruits.
To take into consideration during your stay at Faré Mihiroa : there are only 2 small groceries stores on the main island, which are re-stocked depending on the boats arrivals. Please keep this in mind before arriving on the island. We are dependant on the boat arrivals (not regular) so we will kindly ask you to pre-stock your essentials products prior your arrival.
Also the small groceries stores are not open during week-ends, so please take this information into consideration during the planification of your meals during your stay. We recommend you to buy enough water for your stay when you go to the grocery store.

Open to the outside, built from reef stones and dressed with local wood, they will allow you to refresh yourself while remaining immersed in nature. Water being a precious commodity, the shower and toilets are supplied by a rainwater recovery tank. The toilets are fed from a brackish water well.
Fully equipped, it can accommodate couples and families up to 6 people (a sofa for an additional person is also available).
There is no air conditioning on site, only the sea breeze to cool you down and lull you to sleep.
Travelers will be able to share all their experiences and excursions like the one at the bird island or their pictures on the pink sandy beaches on social networks thanks to the free internet access at their disposal.

What we know about Tikehau Atoll
Tikehau is an atoll in the Tuamotu archipelago in French Polynesia, located 15 km from Rangiroa and 340 km north of Tahiti (55 minutes by air).
It is a raised atoll with an oval shape, 27 km long and 19 km wide, with a surface area of 20 km2 of land consisting of a series of motus with very fine white and pink sand beaches. Its lagoon covers about 461 km2 and is only accessible through the Tuheiava pass.
In 2017, the total population of Tikehau is 560 people mainly grouped in the village of "Tuherahera" located in the south of the atoll.
There are very good restaurants in the main village. Note that most grocery stores and activities accept cash only. An ATM machine is available in the village. For the surfers, we can recommand a guide who will take you to the surf spot by boat located at only 20 minutes from Faré Mihiroa.
